Gone Fishing Christmas Special 2024

The Lot Valley, South West France 

In our fifth festive special, Paul and Bob travel to France to fish the River Lot and soak up the local French culture. Will Ted manage to make the journey too?

Paul and Bob fish the river Lot, the river Célé and a riverside Lake for some new species, including black bass, vandoise and grass carp. 

​

They stay at 2 very different accommodations – the Moulin de Toulzanie on the river Lot.

And the Chateau Camp Del Saltre, which has its own vineyard.

The annual awards ceremony is held at the majestic Chateau des Mercues hotel.

They have a special festive dinner, prepared by local chef Patrica Richer.
